Well, we made it to the coldest place on Earth Canada. I've been wanting to post since I first got here but we've been so busy, I haven't had time. We work 63! hours per wk so we really don 't have time to do much. For those of you who don't know, Brian Bonnett suckered recruited us to work in Canada selling alarm systems for the summer. It is hard work but we are having a good time and have made a lot of friends so far. There are good, and not so good things about Canada. Let me list the good and bad for you:
Things I Love About Canada:
- They have Pepsi flavored Slupees!
- You always take your shoes off when entering someones house... always!
- All the different types of trees
- Everybody
except us recycles
- The people are SO nice!
- The sun goes down at 10:00 pm
- So many beautiful parks!
Things I
hate Don't Like So Much:
- It's impossible to find a toilett seat cover in a public restroom
- It is FREEZING, all the time.
- Everything is in celsius so all I know is that it's cold but I never know the actual temp
- Streets run N and S and Avenues run E and W...
stupid confusing!
- The eggs taste funny. You would think they would be the same, but the're not!
- They don't have any bills smaller than a $5. Instead they have Toonies and Loonies which are $1 and $2 coins.
- Mosquitos everywhere!
- No mountains
- It rains all the time
- Everything is really expensive
This is definitely a good and fun experience but we will be excited to be back in to our home country. Oh and Danny got accepted to the American College of the Building Arts school in Charleston, South Carolina so we will be moving there in August, as soon as we get back! Yay!
